Day 9 - Okamino and Beyond

At heARt Fit this morning, Renata achieved excellence in creativity and restraint. Well done. Apologies for the fact that the colours are not accurately represented. Curse you Iphone.

In the spirit of the season, branches of Ponderosa pine and Oregon grape holly graced our front door (outside).  I bought this Chinese vase many many years ago at an auction in Parry Sound, Ontario. I always loved it, but recently came to think of it as something I was getting ready to give away. Sometimes, decisions are made for you by the wind, as it caught those branches and made a sail, causing it to crash and crack.  It's a happy release.

The wind was blowing harder on the Apex trail on Knox, the temperature rising to +11C. Being short, these tiny mushrooms had no fear of being blown over.

Hard to believe there could even be clouds in the sky with the wind blowing so hard.

Apex trail seasonal colour schemes.
